Roof sarking and battens on.

There was a tradie here from 6:30am this morning installing the roof safety barrier and the roof tilers were hear not long after hooking in aswell.
These guys didnt muck around either. They put in a good full day and knocked off at around 5:00pm.
In that time period they installed the sarking, battens and relocated about 1/3 of the roof tiles on to the roof top, ready to install.
The way these boys work, Id dare say they may have this knocked over tomorrow. If not, definitely Friday.

Gutters/fascias installed - roof tiles delived

Our gutters and fascia boards were installed today, along with the valleys.
Our roof tiles, battens, sarking and whirley birds were also delivered.
Hoping to see the roof safety rail installed tomorrow and hopefully some tiles laid aswell.

We just had our gutters and fascias dropped off today.

Our brickwork is finally done. It took 2 weeks all up and the brickies did a fantastic job.
I think the next stage is fascia boards and gutters followed by sarking and roof tiles.

I didnt post on the blog much this week as it would've been too boring if I did it every day.
We had brickies here Mon, Tue, Wed & Thur and they completed about 2/3 of the brickwork.
Nothing happened today (Friday) as I dont think tradies like working much on Fridays, even the weather was perfect..
However, big thumbs up to the brickies for doing a quality job.
And a big thumbs down to our Construction Co-ordinater at Masterton for not replying to my emails or taking responsibility regarding the house tiles not being installed before the wrap, thus causing about a 2-3 week delay on our build time.  :(
